engine swap question/confussion

Hello, I got a k8 in my car right now. 130hp@6500. I heard the ze has 200@6500. I recently found out that the 96-98 Millenia 2.3-kjs engine hase 210HP @5300 and same and torque at 3500. Would this engine fit in an mx-3? would it been a direct bolt in as the ze...or is there more too it?

yes, there is more to it than the ZE.
no one has yet to swap in the supercharged miller cycle engine from the millenia.<p>this doesnt mean it cant be done, but you would be the first.<p>please do this and let us know what problems you have and how to over come them in the future.

The 2.3 could be done but is a lot more work. Unless you want an automatic you will have to use a stand alone aftermarket ecu to run it. The 2.3 only came in automatic and the millenia ecu needs to see the auto tranny there to work properly.<p>The other thing is intercooler plumbing. You'd have to rig up a front mount and do all the plumbing.
