Mileage

Post by redv6 »

Hey guys, I found a sweet little red V6 5 spd, GS that looks really nice. It has like 130k on it though, I was wondering how well your guys MX3s have held up as far as mileage goes. Do the mazdas have head gasket etc problems like some other small engine cars out there? How much do you guys see these cars going for? Thanks for the help.

I think these engines hold up pretty well because of the small bore and stroke, and it's a fairly low compression as well.<p>But I just bought my '93 MX3 GS V6 three weeks ago. A 5 speed and 90K miles. I paid $3350 from a private owner in California. Pretty dang good paint considering it's 10 years old, and the stock wheels cleaned up into brand new condition. So that's $3350 for what I'd consider to be an excellent condition stock GS.
