pulling transmission
is their an easier way to pull the tranny without pulling the entire engine??????

by the way i picked up another tranny for only $300.00 with 55,000 miles on it and a 2 year warranty pretty good i think just need to pull the tranny without pulling the whole engine....

no you don't actually have pull the engine. but the job is tough either way. start by buying a chiltons manuel.

Lift the car 15" at least, drop the tansverse member, and keep the left engine mount only. This way, the tranny will be pointing down by right side and you'll pull it out easy without grinding the tranny's casing.<p>This is how I did and Mazda does....<p>Good luck
