Royal purple oil

has anyone tried this stuff? the local tuner shop in town swears by it, he saya it is dyno proven. i am going to try it in my tranny this weekend then i might try the coolant additive. i thnk the oil is way to expensive anyways just wondering if anyone has used it

I bought the Royal Purpel Tranny fluid and have it in the car but the car isn't moving yet so I can't give you my thoughts on it yet. I hope it works ok cause I just took out Mobil 1 synthetic out cause it sucks. All my manuals say you can use GL-5 oil but from people I've talked to said the G5M-R tranny doesn't like it. If this stuff doesn't work I'm gonna use Redline cause I know its good stuff.

If you can get gl-5 without sulfer, otherwise need Gl-4

I use Redline MTL in my car. Actually, I had it in my old MX-3 too. Really helps smooth out the shifting. Tends to really shine when the transmission is warm, but that could be true of all transmission fluids.

put the purple stuf in sunday and it doesnt seem as notchy or that could be wishful thinkin!
