After driving around with the Pacesetter for a few days, I decided the distance between throws was okay, but I wanted it a little closer to me. In 1st, 3rd and 5th it was just a little too far away, enough that I'd have to move my shoulder ever so slightly forward to reach it. (I'm 6' so my seat is pretty far back.) I took out my shifter and bent it back in my bench vice (with the help of some long pipes and muscle) and now it's perfect. I always felt the normal shifter was a little too far away as well, but my shifter being a little lower made the problem more apparent.<p>If I ever get the urge to replace my Pacesetter shifter, I'll just have a shop modify my stock shifter to my specs.
