Holy Cow........

Post by treckrtj »

Wow. know those really good days that you always dream of but never have? Well, my buddy just wrecked his car. It is a 95 Probe GT. He just sold his interior parts to a buddy. He said tomorrow I can come pull his engine and everything else out, but it HAS to be tomorrow cause he's gettin the body towed on Friday for scraps. Engine has 64k miles. So what all do I need from him to put it succesfully in my 93 GS? I have heard tons of debates on which distributer, VAF, ECU, and all that to use, wither the K8 or KL-03. What about transmissions? So a complete list of what to strip off his car would be GREAT!! Need it by tomorrow morning please............ Thanks!!

The engine assembly, from TB to exhaust manifolds, including all sensors will be the easiest way to do it. The Tranny is the same as yours [assuming both are 5spd's].

I used to know alot about MX-3's, but not so much anymore. Oh well.

get his ECU and VAF as well, also get his disty.
disconnect all the sensors and vacuum solenoids that are on the engine, and try not to break anything, that's all I can remember from top of my head
