help please vaf - 1100 at mazda

I had check engine light on and my idling was next to nothing I pulled the code and 08 came out VAF, called Mazda $ 1100 dollars, I am dead. Where else I can find that or maybe it is only rubber boot? Could this be a boot?

don't believe the codes! I had the shop replace the VAF twice due to the codes and the same symptoms keep coming back. Lots of used VAFs out there if you look hard enough. Don't pay more than $40-$70 for one. Go to the wreckers if you have no other choice.
