exhaust piping size?

Post by manitobamx3 »

I got the k8 engine and i've been made an offer for $75 cdn for already bent brand new 2.5 exhaust piping. I plan to get the kl03 or klze engine in about a year but for now will performance be reduced or increased? Also what is the best size of piping for the k8? and the klo3?

If you got K8 your low end torque will be reduced buy flow at high RPm will be better. With a view to KL03 or ZE go with 2.5" pipe. Some say it is too much, some say it loves it. I got Ze and 2.25". Habe not tried 2.5 yet. but for now there is plenty of power. :p

I believe that 2.25" for the K8 and 2.5" for the KL's are what most people recommend. Most questions like this have already been asked a few dozen times and would be easy to find using the search function :)
