Is the waterpump really that expensive? I heard it costs about 300 USD...

maybe that price includes the labor also. Waterpumps go for less than a $100. From mazda it cost around $110.

it takes about 4 hours to do it yourself while the motor is in the car i went through this last week!

Thanks guys...I was going to pay a way too much for the pump then...maybe the mechanic tries to fool me...those damn mechanics...you dont stand them and you cant be without them either...
