k3 cams in a k8?

I have heard of people swaping k8 cams for kl-ze cams for some kind of performance gain, I never did get a good idea of how much, but what would be the effect of using k3 cams in a k8?

Assuming you mean KL03, normally referred to as KL with ZE used to refer to the high HP Pacific Rim only market variation, then I have seen stats on Probetalk that suggest the intake cams are more aggressive than the K8's.<p>[ September 22, 2002: Message edited by: pelado ]

so yes or no on power gains from using the cams from an americam 2.5 liter in a 1.8 liter? they are much cheaper to obtain then the ZE cams

Yes you will gain some hp with the KLDE cams but you will gain even more with the KLZE cams.
