just intalled my rx7 fuel pump and...

i hear a whineing sound when the pump is operateing...everything works fine..my car is completely tubed so i think thats why oim hearing it.....and also the rx7 pump had 2 termanals for the + and - hookup..while the mx3 had a clip..i just cut the clip and took some those little metal circle things and put the on the wire and screwed it on the terminals...is this safe(being that the + and - termanals..are in contact with the fuel...if they are) i dont know much about it soo i apricaite the help. it runs fine

yeah, some pumps are just noisy. i don't have my back seat in and i hear the pump(3rd gen rx-7) prime when i first turn on the key. don't worry about the connections being in the fuel. i was freakin' out about this, so i did more than enough research...so you're good.

is there any binefit to putting a RX-7 fuel pump on a K8?
