intake tube cracking

ok my stock intake tube is cracking through the ripple like areas. instead of replacing the tube with another, what other options do i have or whats a good way to make my own since this piece cannot be reused?<BR>Dan

Buy some silicone hose from any one of a dozen or more sellers on the net.
KLZE, ZE PCM, UR pulley, PS catback, PS STS, PRM, IAC bypass, 64mm TB, FOP hair gel

I used a silicone coupling to mount the VAF to the TB, i put a PVC 90 degree on the VAF that went straight down, then put a cone style filter an the end of that.<BR>This system replaces your intake tube and gives you a cold air intake for really cheap

Do you have pictures and stuff of you coldair install... Maybe some instructions? I not sure what all that stuff is that you said..lol :roll:

I can't take credit for the idea. Go to the V6 FAQ board on this site, there is a FAQ titled "homemade intake", it has pictures and very detailed instrutions. thanks for posting that Dave

ok went there and I understand alot more now, however I am still confused as they say nothing about what to do with those vacuume lines?

u put brass fittings into the pipe and connect the hoses to them.<BR>Thanks guys for the quick response.<BR>Dan
