Aftermarket Radiator Cap?

Post by GMGQ »

Are there any aftermarket Radiator Caps for the MX-3?
My cousin just got an A'Pexi radiator cap for his Integra that actually helps performance by a little bit. Something about the new cap having a different pressure setting, so that the coollant kicks in faster or something...?
Anything similar for the MX-3? TIA

Different caps allow the coolant system to operate at higher pressures. Higher pressures means the boiling point of your coolant is raised. Last time I checked 3rd gen RX-7 TT radiator caps from Greddy will fit a K series.

Thanks, David. At least someone's heard of it.
Guys, the cap actually states the pressure on it, and there's this spring mechanism in it. It's not like the oil cap, where a cap is just a cap.

quote:
Originally posted by David Coleman:
Different caps allow the coolant system to operate at higher pressures.
