idle screw on top of tb

does any one know the correct position for the screw on the tb,because i had idle issues before and i messed around with it and now i think it is running too rich,well the mixture is messed up or something.<BR> [img]shrug.gif"%20border="0[/img] [img]shrug.gif"%20border="0[/img]

The correct position will depend on your idle speed. This screw regulates air through a passage that bypasses the throttle plate.<P>I doubt this screw alone could cause a rich mixture problem, I would suspect O2 sensors first.

Hmm......I unscrewed mine as far as it would go and my idle went to about 1200 and made a loud sucking noise..sounded cool.....I also noticed what seemed to be a significant power gain. But it might of just been me.....and I dunno how safe it is so i turned it back in......When I hook up my guages I will figure out if its okay for the engine...anyone got ideas?
