Loose Rotors

Post by jrs1874 »

I was changing my brakes the other day and noticed that when I took the old brakes off that the Rotors just slide off. What is supposed to hold them in there. Autozone told me that they were supposed to be like that and that my rims will tighten everything up when I put my wheel back on. Does anyone have the same thing? Thanks

There's supposed to be a screw that holds the rotor on (look for a recessed hole in the hub) but these get rusted in place and the screws get broken off. Like Barry said the wheels hold them on so there's no need to replace this screw.
