Well here's the new car....

Post by MX-3 Lover »

Well here it is.
I got it for 1800.00 cdn.
plans to add my:
-MOMO shift knob
-6x9 Pioneer tri-ax speakers in boxes
-10" sub MTX
-It already has the 10 disc in it.
-Fosgate amp.
I want to refinish these wheels in either black or white with the chrome lip left chrome.
-Tint the windows.
-Do the muffler when the existing one rusts out.
Here's a pic. Sorry about the size.

Runs reall nice....it's a 6cyl gs....nothing really done to it yet...just some NGK wires and plugs. I have to wait to save some $$ so I can do some other stuff. Love how smooth this car is!!!
Coming from a CRX...it's way cool!

well, the interior is mint, it's a 1992....290,000kms, but I know the owner (he's the original owner), body is awesome, no rust at all. Only thing it needs is the Timing Belt to be done but I know a guy that's gonna do it for me. a stack of reciepts came with it showing all the service history since day #1.
I'll be sure to send the updated pics when I'm done with it. Hope to come to some Toronto meets this summer too!

...im sorry but 1800 for a car that has just shy of 300,000 km's is not a good deal. He will be lucky if he gets 50,000km's out of it without dumping money into repair. If he does, all the power to him!!

Its an awesome deal..say the engine goes out on him...no need to spend money for repair, drop a KLDE in it. Im not sure of the exhange rate, you Canadians do the math. For 1,500 US dollars you could have a KLDE swap with under 30,000 miles. Boom there you go...car that has more pep than your average hooked up honda, and money left in your pocket to spend on your girl...

True...that's what the plan is...however, all the money was just spent on the engine....Just got some new reciepts from the owner... Just have to do the Timing belt...no prob...my mech buddy said he'd do it for the price of the belt..waterpump..
Later
Mat

290K, thats why, yeah i got my silver car for 1200 bucks canadian, 1994 silver 5Spd, GS, perfect body as everyone saw it b4 the accident,,, what was wrong, 297K when i bought it, he was the first and only owner, took amazing care of the car, had receipts since 1994 which was still in the warranty package,,, :(

That's a great deal.!. Just because it has 290,000K on it doesn't mean it's going to die tomorrow. Mine runs like new and probably better then 70% of the cars in this forum. If the engine has been properly maintained, it will go forever. It's a mazda! ;)

That's right, keep up on the regular oil changes and basic mantainence, and any car will last a long time. And there is always LUCK.
