2.5L GSRs and warrenties

I call my warrenty company yesterday cuz i craked a piston head, and what i found out suprised me.... They actually suggested upgrading the car to a 2.5L KL-03?. just my luck i got messed over cuz of a exclusion. So I decided to put one in my self.... After calling my warrenty agent he said if I do it my self it will still be covered. Mostly cuz it costs less for a warrenty agentcy to fix the 2.5 cuz it is still fully supported then the 1.8L.
