I remember reading ages ago about what the MX stood for and now I can't remember where I read it. oh well, "motor cross" comes to mind but I don't think that's it. I'll search and think more as to where I read about the MX meaning.

<hr></blockquote><p>yes u r right about the fact that they mostly call cars by there chassis code, like EG6, SW20 R33, just to name a few. the early models of the RX7 were called the FC and the 3rd gen is called the FD. so if u r ever on a japan exporting site and u see thoes codes that is what they r refering 2. as for the MX in MX3, i have no idea what is stands for, but it has a great ring to it ![Cool :cool:](./images/smilies/icon_cool.gif)
