i think i f.ucked up someone help out !!

so whatever i got this new car radio for like 400 bucks
the sony CDX-m8805x
and i wasnt too sure about what wire was to hook up to whatever wire... so far i have all the speakers hooked up into the new plug right.. but im really bugging out on how to get it actually on .. can anyone help out?

Cool the speakers are half the battle.
I am assuming you are hard wiring it, because the factory plug is cut off. (cause you can buy an adapter for like 7bucks).

Next take the ground wire and attach it to the black wire in the harness. Always ground first.

Next hookup the yellow wire to the blue/red wire in the mx harness.
Next hook the red wire up to the blue/white wire in the mx harness.

If that doesn't work, check fuses. If that doesn't work get a multimeter. If you don't know what that is get someone to help u.

oh **** so that big ugly black plug the one pronged one is a ground?
what about the big ugly black one with the kinda like speaker headphone... i was assuming that it was for the attenna...
but then after that i dont have all the cables used ... i have these two red ones left over..
a negative illuminator wire which i assumed would hook up to the usually ornge positive illuminator on the new plug and a "red/black "TNS" wire which i dont know to hook up to what...

those two extra wires are the illumination, and something else. Don't need either.
Does the deck work?

w00t! yea its working now thnx bro... the problem was with the blue wire didnt know which was which... and also i had a couple of blown fuses which i changed..
