For the most part Mazda stereos will fit in our cars, there are some odd ones like the Bose ones that I don't think will fit. Best thing to do is if you are looking on e-bay make sure they show a picture of the back of the stereo and that it has plug ins for the two plugs on the MX-3s wiring harness.

Could someone please post a pic of the mazda type cd player that will fit in the MX-3? Most e-bay sellers aren't that great about descriptions and pictures. Does this one look right?

nothing works and is priced better than my second hand panasonic deck, i purchased it for 120 CDN$ and works sick, its a CQ-DF903U. I checked and a brand new one goes around 160 US$,,, sick deck, good looks, good price, and very nice functionz too,,, :D

even if we trust you, the link wouldnt work,,, :D <p>It is true, any kind of mazda CD or tape deck or even cd- changer that you buy, as long as its 1990+ models, it will defnitely work on your car,, :D

thats exactly what you need, take a closer @ the plugs in the right hand side, they exactly match the plugs in our carz, :shrug:

I recently upgraded from a kenwood mp-919 to a CQ-DFX983U, panasonics top of the line model, and even though the controls are much more lamen and less confusing than kenwoods, i get much much better sound quality, harder bass and amazing graphics...
