this is driving me crazy!
my right rear speaker sounds like it could possible be blow. it buzzes everytime the bass hits. i dunno though cause it still puts out decent sound. also, the front speakers sound so much better than the backs, aren't they the same? all 5.25" and 25w?

Re: this is driving me crazy!
It probably sounds better because it's in a better enclosure. Those rear speaker holders are the worst things I have ever seen. What was Mazda thinking. They must of designed it on April 20th.

you guys with stock speakers. did you have any problems or concerns about yours before putting your system in. my system should be in next month and i was wondering it they buzzing might just be the stock system.

Re: this is driving me crazy!
ok, maybe it is because the cover on top of the speaker. how do i take the cover off. i tried those two screws but that doesnt do it all the way
Re: this is driving me crazy!
if your talking about the rear speaker cover, you take off the 2 screws then u pull up. You need to add a bit of force cause it's a Bi#ch to get out. Anyways, the buzzing might be a wiring issue so when you add your system, just replace the wires....also the the reason your fron sound better then your rear is cause the front have 3 screws which are scrwed into metal (much more support witch inturn makes the speaker sound better) and the rear is supported by plastic. Plastic does not support the speaker which makes the sound quality s#$t

Re: this is driving me crazy!
try switching your right rear speaker with your left and see if it still makes a noise...if it does it could be the wire...if no then it's the speaker itself. Might be something to try.
