Has anyone used a second battery for there alarm system? If so, <P>how do you hook it up?<BR>where is the best place to put battery?<BR>what size of battery is best?<P>thanks,

The best place I know of to put it is in the dash where it is near impossible for thiefs to get to it.

if the alarm was professionally installed, take it to them to put the second battery in. provided the installer was good, everything will look like stock when he's done under the dash, a thief won't be able to find the alarm or the battery. then again, with a good alarm, you should have a hood pin, so if your hood is opened to disconnect the battery, the alarm goes off.
