Re: Keyless Entry
Actually there is a way to do it. All you need to do is get some lock actuators, relays and the keyless entry unit. www.commandoalarms.com is a place I found when looking for a keyless entry. there are a couple of things there to look at to add to you car. what you will need (to get the locks to work) is 2 door actuators, 4 relays and the keyless entry unit. on their tech page they have a diagram on how to wire up the actuators. the keyless entry unit may require additional relays for some of the other features. That is up to you to research. Hope this gives you a start.

If you are looking for a good product DEI makes one, you can see it on there web site www.directed.com you might know them as Vipper. They make good products very nice to work with. I'm a pro installer, I'm really happy with this brand. It's one of few brands of electronics that are simple and truly installer friendly. Good luck with your project it is really simple if you kind of know what your doing.

Re: Keyless Entry
dei makes great products and the keyless entry module is very easy to install. I don't know about commando but dei has a ground out when armed which means you could also add a starter kill to your keyless system. If you fax your insurance company a reciept from a shop saying that they installed a starter kill your insurance should also be a bit cheaper (I think its 5% cheaper)

Re: Keyless Entry
Does anyone know of a good do it all alarm system? Nothing that talks, those things are so anoying and everyone ignores them anyway. I want the works, remote start, keyless entry, glass monitor, window and sunroof space monitor, bump, zone alert, tamper proof, starter kill.

Re: Keyless Entry
I have a 1992 RS and I have keyless entry but no power windows or locks. It can definitely be done guaranteed. Now go to your father and laugh in his face.
