front/rear speakers

Post by marshmallow15 »

i'm replacing my stock front speakers and was wondering if i necessarily had to put the cover back on. i was hoping you wouldn't have to so my speakers can be seen and i'm planning to use the look of the speakers for my interior.

Yeah I think you have to...well, not HAVE to...but it looks real crappy if you don't.<P>I just put new front speakers in and it doesn't affect the sound having the covers on - they sound so much better than the stock ones.

You don't have to put them back on. It makes it easier for your speakers to be ruined by someone kicking them, or random s--- flying around in your car (the way I drive, this flying items are a common occurance ;)) I would recomend putting them on.

If you do a custom job it could look nice, if you made a nice new cover out of fiberglass or something and built it up a bit.
