I need to get this sticker off!
Hey, I have a sticker that's on my car and it won't peel off nice... it's on the paint. I'm just wondering is there an easy way to peel it off without ruining the paint?
Any suggestions... please and thank you.

Heat it with a blow dryer or something, eraser wheel, only if you're painting the car though.

Definately heat it up with a dryer. Get it pretty warm and it should peel off nicely. After it comes off let the bumper cool to room temperature and then spray wd40 on the sticky stuff left over to remove it. Good luck!

I read somewhere that they did a cologne test, and out of a whole bunch of girls, they said that wd-40 was the sexiest scent of them all. weird.

Re: I need to get this sticker off!
careful with goo gone, though. I used to sell that stuff, and it works awesome, but it can strip paint right off the metal if you're not careful.

Just use gas. Then when your done give it a good wax!
Re: I need to get this sticker off!
Take it to a car wash, one of the do it yourselfers, and set the pressure washer on HOT and hold it there untill it comes off.

Re: I need to get this sticker off!
my idea would just be take a cloth, put it in hot water, hold it over the sticker, then while holding the hot face cloth over the sticker, take a heating gun and use that over the cloth where the sticker is for about 2-3 min, and when you remove the cloth, it should come off very easily.
peace

Re: I need to get this sticker off!
If it's on paint on the body, use an eraser wheel for sure, but if it's on your bumper or something plastic thats painted do not use an eraser wheel. Before i discovered the magical eraser wheel i just used High pressure wand wash and then WD40 to get the remaining glue off....
