Re: Projector Headlights-- I just want an answer...
Ok here we go... WARNING: My car got in a fight with a Jeep Cherokee a few years ago, and came out a tad beat up. I still have not been able to get the frame of the car fixed. Also...the hood is yellow . I got it cheap at a junk yard, can you blame me? (the MX-3 I took it off was WAAAAY uglier) Now ...

Re: Distributor Problems
I had the same problem about a year ago. I replaced the ignition coil and it didn't fix the problem, so I wasted $100 or so. Took it to my mechanic and he said it was the ECU. When he replaced that I never had a problem ever again. Pretty much what happened is I'd be cruisin down the highway and th...

Re: Projector Headlights-- I just want an answer...
Still no headlights...I'm getting a bit annoyed now. They were estimated for yesterday, they aren't here today, and they don't ship on Sunday I'm pretty sure. I don't know what to tell you but to wait a bit longer. To the other people: Quit being dicks. Seriously. He bought the other MX-3 projectors...

Re: Projector Headlights-- I just want an answer...
They were scheduled for delivery today...but no luck. If I get them tomorrow I'll post pictures and tell you if there's a gap with the eBay group-buy projectors.

Re: I just want an answer...
I just ordered a pair of the ones in the group buy from Ebay yesterday, so when they get here Wed-Friday I'll be sure to let you know. My bumper, too, is bent down on one side, but my stock lights still sit evenly and the gap isn't that noticeable.
When they get here I'll reply again.

Re: 4 cyl MAF sensor compatibility
So with that gigantic box in the way how do you fit a short ram intake on the pre-1994 1.6L MX-3? The pipe from the engine ends at one of those VAF boxes and goes directly to the air filter box. Unless you can replace it with a smaller one, the short ram intake would have to be right on the end of t...

Re: '95 B6, Gerbil Wheel Powered?
To tell you the truth, if you hadn't described it as a gerbil wheel I wouldn't have guessed, but I think your speedometer may be giving out. Mine does the same thing, only in cold weather. Check that out. Next time you hear the noise, lean forward a bit, turn off your stereo, and see if it's coming ...

Re: Got my Projectors.
ummm well the LEDS are not driving lights.... they are used more for turn signals. Ah well then color me confused, I thought the main bulbs were Super Bright LEDs or whatever. So they're just plain old regular bulbs then? That's good, I suppose, as long as they're brighter than the stock ones. Stil...

Re: Got my Projectors.
Have you opened them yet? If so, how hard were they to get open? I ask because I may buy them and want to put in a HID kit later, unless I'm duly satisfied with the LEDs.

Re: solo_ryder's How To: Warm air/Short ram intake
Quick question, if I have the gigantic VAF (seen here http://www.mx-3.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=62389&hilit=Short+Ram" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;), what changes would I need to make to your writeup? Shorter pipe I suppose? And would it be possible to get the...

Re: solo_ryder's How To: Warm air/Short ram intake
I'll probably be doing this on Friday, if I can get the couplers and pipe locally. If not I may have to order these on the interwebs and wait until next week. I'm going to be doing alot soon, but I'm really not used to having money to spend on my car. It's...magical.

you would have found it had you searched for it. Do you enjoy sounding smug, or is it naturally what you do? If you'll notice I've been a member for almost 4 years and I only have 22 posts. That would suggest that I do alot more READING on the site than I do posting. I only ask questions when I can...

Re: BP swap
I check this site often: http://www.jdmenginescorp.com/engines/mazda" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; They always have something that can be swapped into a MX-3, but the engines rarely up there for more than a week until someone gets them. They also almost always have the V6,...
