I think selling it is a bit extreme, and I'm surprised nobody has responded to your post that has more knowledge. Did you try seafoaming the car or running fuel injector cleaner through the system? Those are alot cheaper than letting Bubba at the corner mechanic shop try alot of different stuff for ...

For the shaking at higher speeds, I suggest getting your tires balanced. Mine are currently unbalanced in the rear so at 70 mph+ my car shakes like crazy.

I started that in the winter. Never got around to fixing it though, doesn't act up now because it's the summer.
