Re: Anyone else into Smartphones?
Been using a Samsung Captivate since August, love it. Check out my apps: http://www.appbrain.com/user/Aceko/apps-on-the-samsung-galaxy-s I don't think I'll ever get a non-Android phone again, unless Nokia and Microsoft pick up the pace with their new agreement. I came from a Blackjack II so this was...

Re: Chicken on a Raft
I prefer a chicken in my belly but I'm gonna try and stay on the raft for at least 5 minutes. I'm a minute in now.

Re: Rear-Mount Battery Relocation
I'm interested as well, I already have a pretty big stereo and I was considering a second battery. If I can relocate the main one and put the second back there as well without hindering my box space, that'd be awesome. If you keep it under $200 that'd be even better.

Re: Changing bulbs in tail lights
Hey man, thanks for taking the time to do that! Especially in the (looks like) cold weather/snow. I appreciate it. Still haven't gotten around to changing mine yet, maybe tomorrow since it's supposed to be nice outside. It looks like everyone was right about just needing to get more "mean"...

Re: Stale Car Startup Precautions?
Haha all the responses are great! I'm excited I got some of the old-timers to respond as well  Once I get my hands on the car I'll probably do the plugs and wires at least, oil the cylinders as suggested, change the fuel filter and the oil, and crank it with the plugs out to bring up the oil pr...

Stale Car Startup Precautions?
So for Christmas my folks got me a SE Purple MX-3 (they know I'm a fanboi). The problem is that it's been sitting in someone's driveway since 2007 (the inspection sticker says as much). What caused the original owners to stop driving it in 2007, I couldn't tell you. The problem comes with the issue ...

Re: Valve cover gasket leak...common?
Wondered if this was a common issue among MX-3's. I ignored mine for quite a while, since when I'd check the oil, it usually wasn't low. Finally got it fixed. I asked the shop if I'd see any significant improvement in performance, & they said no--it was mainly to stop the leaking oil, and that ...

Re: egr problems
I think selling it is a bit extreme, and I'm surprised nobody has responded to your post that has more knowledge. Did you try seafoaming the car or running fuel injector cleaner through the system? Those are alot cheaper than letting Bubba at the corner mechanic shop try alot of different stuff for ...

Re: car is shaking at idle and at 120 kph
For the shaking at higher speeds, I suggest getting your tires balanced. Mine are currently unbalanced in the rear so at 70 mph+ my car shakes like crazy.

Re: 1.6 Mx-3 Header
A quick update on the header. We have 2 people signed up for this who are not on the forum. No one else is interested in getting this header? Derrick I'm interested, but I am also currently unemployed. I don't even have $50 to put down as a deposit. My birthday is next week, so perhaps then. As it ...

I started that in the winter. Never got around to fixing it though, doesn't act up now because it's the summer.

I am currently pretty buzzed (aka drunk) right now eating a delicious thin crust pizza I seasoned myself while playing Final Fantasy XI and VII at the same time. I love it.
