Did you think about a stuck EGR valve (If your're using K8 Intake Manifold) ?

Check out the TPS Adjustment, and the BAC valve (IAC).

Good luck !

If you're not able to get out the throttle cable/bracket by yourself, do not attempt doing it by yourself at all !

This is not a ''first thing to do'' when learning mechanics on a car...

Yes, there some bad things in my head when I think to the VRIS plates.

Acid will overbore and the plate will not sit air tight anymore ...

Only bad point to my eyes. Could the guy who did it can help us with this issue ?

I've read the entire method, and it looks like to be very nice.

Definitely a great FAQ doc !

Sulfuric Acid= H2SO4
Nitric Acid= HNO3

Yeah, it's totally true. You have to check the cam-lifter clearance, and adjust lash with shims designed for. Here's a KLG4 (1998-2002 626 V6) Cam. Notice the different lobe design compared to HLA lobe profile. You can also see the lifter itself. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/1103/GSRBOMB/Lavoie...

I confirm: 1998-2002 Mazda 626 V6 has the solid lifter design. The cams are labelled KLG4 (I don't no if there's a disty groove on the LH Exhaust cam, considering these KL's are disty-less (coil-pack)). The heads used are the same as the 1993-97 KL's, so they are labelled ''KL-1A1'' (LH) and ''KL-10...

Originally, I ordered the 2000-2005 Miata Mx-5 one. This badge was definitely TOO BIG for the car. Considering Mazda5's is larger than 2000-2005 Mx-5 one, I strongly recommend you the P/N: NC10-51-731 from the 1999 Miata. I just finished to install it today, and the size is identical to the OEM Mx-3...

I Just ordered the 1999 Miata Front one. 1999 (PN NC10-51-731) only. 2000-2005 is to large.

Rear emblem from Protege5 is almost identical , if not.

Make sure you get the piston re-entered (fully) by turning it clockwise until it stops when you are putting on some new brake pads.
