i bought mine - in much better shape - and paid way less than that. mine is a '92, not the anniversary edition but there's no way a year newer is worth 3 grand!

v/c = valve cover = pricey to have done, especially the rear is harder to get at <BR>rear struts = shocks = depends on the quality you replace it with<BR>axle boots = not too bad<BR>did u get an estimate for the repairs from mazda? can u afford the repairs? do u know a good mechanic that can do the ...

ok, so i was right about cv joints only on the drive wheels, none in the back - but i was so wrong about where the noise was coming from. it was the front and it was my cv, boot and all. i hate being wrong.
