Actually everything with the car has come to a dead stop, and now I'm trying to do anything with it (mainly sell it, or I'm gonns have to haul it to a junkyard, and take what I can get for it)...

I'm making payments on an 02 Jeep now though that looks pretty sweet.

I love mx-3.com...and all of you!

That site (the carparts.com one) was great!

Thank you so much! Both Dallas and I thought that junk yard was closed...(we knew it as Pelhams)

Searching for an intake manifold

Okay, so we have the KLZE for my mx, but we've searched all the area junk yards and haven't been able to find an intake manifold from the 95 or 96 millenia... Dallas said one guy had one, but he wouldn't come off it. He wanted us to buy the whole engine! The dealer's price was ridiculous, and we're ...

Well the swap barely got started. We got the bumper and headlights removed, plus a few other things like the mass air flow sensor... But the problem is Dallas doesn't know what every hose and wire is called (we'll probably end up labeling them with numbers or letters)... And the "what if the KL...

Finally got the KLZE shipped! Moved it to work site (currently covered with a tarp under shelter to protect from the rain). Might get working on it a bit tomorrow... hopefully the guide Dallas printed out (posted by Pat) will be a sufficient guide. When they ripped this engine, they literally did ju...

Re: Sry for bringing up old topic, but.... (KJ)

We started looking at an engine swap because the current one just doesn't run like it should. I mean it goes through 3/4 of a tank in 148 miles. I thought for $400 a JDM K8 would probably be cheaper than trying to fix the old one ( I would do the work myself but time is a factor and I dont have eno...

The tranny is shot for sure...

Dallas is my car guy, but we know the car is burning oil and not getting the power nor the gas milage it should at all, which is I guess why we were talking engine swap...and he said both engines whether it be the KLZE or the KJ have more power...

Simply put: I don't know how to drive a manual I've tried before (on a honda accord I'd bought), and I was declared hopeless by two people. i ended up giving the honda back and Dallas tried to teach me on his 300ZX buy I don't like drving a manual. I get distracted enough when driving, and I think i...

The auto tranny is most likely going down, because she changes gears really hard, especially between 1st and 2nd... Conversion to manual= not possible. I still think it's impossible for me to learn to drive one, and if I was going to learn, I would'v done so before and found a manual mx in decent sh...

Thank you both very much for the help, and you're right about the PMs because its not accessible to everyone...just trying to get the thread back on target... We just wanted to check the KJ because from what we've heard/researched the KLZE may be too big with the automatic transmission, and had powe...

I wasn't trying to be snippy...but the reason we had asked was because we wanted opinions. It would suck to buy a Kj then have it not fit. It was irritating to have to scroll through text that had nothing to do with our question and still not recieve an answer. And technically since the flyingmxer a...

Hey, there are these things called private messages if two people wanna converse, but this thread got kind of off topic...

So the final ruling as that a KJ is too big, yes? Because according to the dimensions, it didn't seem to be that way, unless the measurements were wrong...
