if you dont have much luck finding one i thnk i have an extra solenoid if yours is broke. but i do ive in the states so shippin might be kind of high.

if the solenoid your looking at is the Vent solenoid then it goes to the blue one which connects to the air box right? if its the vacuum solenoid then it goes to the yellow which is for the egr valve itself

ya its either one of the fpr solenoids. if i remember theres two for our b6 correct?

u can also try cleaning your throttle body as well, and like wytbishop said check your pcv valve and vacuum hoses for leaks.

im not sure if the ignition module is setup up the same way on the Bp system, does the bp cap have a Ign Coil Plug spot on it? on the b6 you have to mod it. try searching around the forums for some info or maybe start a thread on it in the 4cylinder section.
