ya same here, my b6 had the same issues. the ridges werent blown between the cylinders. can you special order multilayer b6 headgasket limegreen?

this looks just like how mine was. i dont see anything blown between the cylinders, did you have lots of white smoke or low compression?

mine does the same thing. leaks around the disty all the time, i put a new o ring in there bam leaks again, same thing with my valve cover gasket lol. stupid leaks, car looks very nice though. ever install the cams?

i have a b6 dohc as well, ive always had problems with this as well. if you look on the online manual go to 95 service manual, engine b6, should be page B1-84 shows the timing belt install. it shows in the pictures and what i went off of, the exhaust cam should have the I pointing diagonal to the I ...

hey guys i was wondering, i had my head rebuilt back in may 06 ran it for a couple months but then i parked my car back in april and tore the engine apart and the head has been sitting for almost a year. i was wondering if should get the valve seals replaced, ive read somewhere they can dry up. just...

ya your intake air temp sensor is inside your MAF sensor. if there is a vacuum leak after the maf, un metered air is allowed into the engine and it will run lean and the oxygen sensor will run the car rich. which is where you loose your gas mileage. and that line goes to the one of your EGR solenoid...

well the 4 wire tps is going to have a idle switch which the 3 wire does not have. and that square tps i believe is for a automatic. is your car a auto? check your reference volatage at the connector for close to 5v and backprobe it and check your voltage you get when you ope n and close your thrott...

ya same here, i barey got a email back from them maybe a week after i sent it and then another week for the next one. ya they sent me bearings that were .25mm over when i asked for std and ya just a pain. i learned my lesson haha

ok good thats good to hear, i think my machine shop did it for me when i got a valve job but since i already had it rebuilt no need to send it back. thanks for the info, ya usually if you dont lube them some can go out in 2500miles as some other people stated. good info

ya dont hollow it out. it wont make that huge of a difference by doing it. especially with the b6 engine. just save your time and money for the bp swap after you get it running and who knows how long it will run. make sure everything is clean before you put it back together.

that sucks but ya just get new pistons get the cylinders check, re ring it and check specs and slap it back together. oh and the thing connected to your exhaust manifold is your warm up cat converter. looks like a honeycomb if you look inside for emissions
