Aside from my depressing story of tragety and tears, I would defiantly recommend the MX3 to you...but I'd plan on spending a bit to get the car really moving.

I've heard that you can be cited for modified intake, exhaust, headlights/taillights and suspensions, ...wow The only few things I know of here in Oregon you can get in trouble for is loud (increadbly loud) exhaust, windows tinted beyond 35%, and different colored lights then what they should be. Another issue I have with my car...This happened in my old honda too Whenever I let out the gas without putting the cluth in, the car will jerk back and forth a few times. This is not just deacceleration, this is something that seems to be getting worse. When I put the clutch in, no jerking happens....
