VRIS question plus a couple others.
Ok here is the deal. I have installed the KLDE in my GS MX-3. I am running the K8 disty, original wiring harness, KL-01 ECU, KL-02 VAF. engine starts and runs sort of ok. The VRIS is not opening when you rev it up. There is a squealing coming from the back of the engine which is NOT a belt. When I p...

I drove an auto when I was looking for a car for my sister ... she wanted 5 speed as well. Those cars rip (at least the one I drove did) . It felt balzier than my 5 speed and best of all you don't have to wait until you get into the 4000 rpm range before it really starts moving. However my friend wh...

That's exactly what the problem was. So this means that I have a 95 engine? Sorry I'm totally unfamiliar with the DE engine, I ordered a ZE, got the DE and had to put it in because my K8 is dead - still working on getting the proper engine though. I've tried doing searches on DE's but all I get is K...

I don't know if I would buy from them if it was my last resort! My K8 died just before the weekend so I had no choice but to put the DE in. Upon first observation there was no alternator as advertised. Not a huge deal, just strap on the one from my K8. Straighten out the throttle that is bent to sh*...

basically it is a straight swap. We used the original K8 wiring in the car. The distributor is the DE distributor. Everything is plucgged back in except for two plugs that went just under the TB on the K8. I believe they are related to the EGR. What I am wondering is if there is a difference between...

Ignition problem
Just a quick question. I just put a DE in my car and everything is good to go except I got no spark. I am wondering if anyone has run into this problem before?

So, seen as it's a long weekend and all I decided to have a better look at my 200 hp JDM KLDE engine  I'm going through the check list of what's included with this engine and find that the alternator is non-existant. Wonder how they would respond to an e-mail on that one?? As it is they insist ...

Anybody dealt with J-Spec in Montreal?? Members of the BBB. I'm thinking if I win this case with Tiger I will try them out - unless someone has a sure-fire garage that doesn't play games. I finally got all my Tiger stuff together to send to Visa when a month is up, check out their ads - Ebay Ad (the...

Buit I kinda say its your own fault for not looking at the engine first. Like between the KL KF and K8 engines there all visually the same aside from intake manifold. LOok at the head codes. But either way you did get jipped and they better come good for it If I could have gone to Ontario to look I...

It sounds like the only way to get a KLZE and know you are going to get a KLZE is to go to the garage pick your engine and keep your eye on that exact engine until it is in the back of your truck. Visa won't do anything for me until 30 days are up. Granted the situation sucks, but it's almost fun wa...

DO NOT PURCHASE ENGINES FROM THIS SUPPLIER IF YOU DO NOT LIVE IN OR NEAR ONTARIO - HECK, JUST STAY CLEAR OF THEM!!! I found a KLZE on EBay from this company and fired off an e-mail to make sure that it was a KLZE and not another K engine. They assured me that it was a ZE and told me to order off of ...

Can someone tell me where to find this online shop manual?? I have looked and searched and cannot find it. Thanks for any help. Also the rear bumper as I remember is quite easy to take off. I work in a body shop and have removed them before. The only problem I found was rusty bolts. I did not remove...
