Re: clutch for KLZE swap
I have a clutch masters stage 1 from rr-racing. It has been in for 2 years, I had the flywheel resurfaced before I installed it. This clutch has worked great for me and my ze so far.

which short shifters fit
I thought I read somewhere on the protoge list that a 88 - ? honda civic short shifter would fit in an protoge. If so would that same shifter fit in a mx3 gs.
The reason I ask is because they can be purchased for little cost.

Re: Idle issues
well I would check your throttle linkage, make sure its not to tight (which would cause the valve in the throttle body to be open a litte.) If thats ok then there is a little screw with a nut on it that stops the throttle in the idle position (loosen the nut and turn the screw in a couple of turns s...

Re: Idle air control valve HELP!
just unplug it and turn up your idle screw alittle. That should work , but if its cold out you may have to push the gas lightly after starting to keep it from stalling until warm.

Re: KL03 ECU
I have been using a clutchmasters stage1 from rr-racing.com. I have had it in for 2 yrs and no probs running my ze. For the money I think its a good clutch. But if money is not a big issue then get a higher stage/stiffer clutch.

Re: question about the egr and soleniod vale
On the 92 gs if you unplug the vacuum tube that goes to the fuel pressure regulator it increases the fuel pressure. So I imagine it would be the same for your mazda. I just used a little breather filter (from selenoid) on the end of the vacuum tube to keep out the crud.

Re: I am having slight problem with ZE ECU PLEASE HELP
Just a thought but its prob not such a bad thing to have the fan going, the ze runs a little hotter anyway due to higher compression, as long as your alternator is up to the task.<p>Maybe you could adjust the tps a bit to make it shut off.
