I would suggest a resurfaced flywheel and a new clutch with any engine you put in. Its easier while the engine/tranny is out.

well I have owned a 95 honda civic hatchback, a 87 crx si (rebuilt the motor) and a in 1982 a 1981 CR elsinor(dirtbike). So hate me if you will, but I enjoyed all my hondas. But I have owned my mx3 since about 1995. I still see my old crx si driving around town(its one rusted car with over 400,00km)

If you can figure out the rest of the swap ok, then the vacuum lines should be no prob for ya. Just have the shop manual with you so you can see where they all go.
