Re: Just picked-up another MX3
WOW! thanks for the info. Yes, I have decided to remove the windshield and do bodywork :welder: to remove all the rust that I can find on the car. I think I owe it to my 15 year old son to fix this car because my other MX3 that was originally for him, I toyed with it and now I don't want to give it ...

Re: [WTB] driver side automatic seatbelt
Ok, here's the deal. I talked to Mazda customer service about the recall on the seatbelt. This recall/fix is only done once throughout the life of the car. BUMMER>>>>

Re: Just picked-up another MX3
The rust area is actually under the weatherstrip. There are little rust bubble visible on the exterior paint where the weatherstrip meets the a-pillar and roof. When I lifted the weatherstrip, I saw a lot more rust under it. I will take pictures this weekend of the car. Also, I will be painting the ...

Re: Just picked-up another MX3
You know, now that I think about it, I will probably try to remove it myself. I don't plan on saving the weatherstrip/rubber. I willl just buy a new one. I can probably get a utility knife and slice the weatherstrip and take it out from the front.

temperature/thermostat problem?
Hello all, When my car is on the highway (60-80 mph), the temp gauge goes all the way down to "C". Then when I exit and drive around it rises to half between C & H. When I go back on the highway, the temp gauge goes back all the way down to "C". I am thinking it might be a po...

Re: Just picked-up another MX3
thanks for the reply MrMazda92. The rusted area is actually on the upper right pillar on the passenger side under the weatherstrip. I was hoping to remove the windshield and do some bodywork to it but from what I read in the forum, removing the windshield should be left to the PRO's. Although I woul...

Just picked-up another MX3
I just purchased and picked up my 2nd MX3 yesterday. Bought it off ebay for USD800. It's a 92RS manual with no visiblle engine modifications (look completely stock). The good: 1. Engine runs like a dream. NO oil spill/leak/wet engine spots/knocking/rattling/smoke/pings. Drove it over 200 miles to my...
