You can start by cutting the orange wire - However it is highly recommended that you also cut the Black/Green wire to completely disable the internal ignitor module.

so this chip is 2 sided and i see one thing for the iat, where does the other end go? Check the "manual" that came with the chip - if its "parallel" then it goes between the iat wire and gnd - if its "series" then you have to cut the iat wire and put it in series. IMO ...

I think 323 GTR harness colors might be the same as SOHC - but i am not sure-
