oil color

Hi, anyone know what the normal engine oil color should be - mine looks almost greenish greyish brown - i dont know if i should head for the shop and get an oil/filter change or is that normal? Thanks.

Oil leak near distributor

I think my engine (94 1.6L DOHC) leaks a small amount of oil somewhere around the distributor. The entire distributor is caked with greasy grime and there is some greasy stuff close to the cylinder - also i found out that the spark plug gets covered with oil (the one closer to the distributor) - so ...

I think its different - even within DOHC there seems to be an early model and a late model - mine is a late model. I might be completely wrong about this - anyone know for sure if its different? Thanks.

I found this link - http://cable.invisibill.net/ it has info about how to make a custom cable to read data from ecm into a computer - we would still need some software like datamaster or freescan or something - if we could get some data sheets to make sense of the data that flows in we might be able...

Also whenever i try any hard acceleration (step on the gas real fast) there is a delay before the car actually accelerates - sometimes it is just a small delay and sometimes it is a huge delay and the engine noise sounds like it is going to stall - if it is that bad then i have to let go of the gas ...
