extending o2 sensor wires is generally not recommended - the sensor output is only 0-1V - adding wires will further drop the voltage making the ecu think that the engine is running lean and dump more fuel to compensate. But if you must extend (only a little bit)- i am guessing 8-12 ga wire should be...
