egr sensor, ihave the same problem, its an electrical problem, usually not the acutual vavle.

its the little black thing the wire plugs into. the sensor is fuct. if it can still run at higher rpm and stales when it goes around 1.2, its the egr sensor.

cheapest way would to go spray bomb =)

get some adhesion promoter, flexiable primer, flexible paint ( base clear? single stage? ) and your set.

i had that noise too, its the overhead cams, i was told.

after i did an oil chage, it went away.

try adding more oil

im not an expert but it worked for me.
