s1zzl3: Thanks for that article - an informative opinion piece. FYI - My local car dealerships appear to be 'all over' this concept of electronic rust prevention. Know a few people who have bought new cars and they were both 'sold' on this technology (at about $700, might I add). From my personal ex...

Claude: Have you been in touch with Tapp Auto? http://www.tappauto.com/page.cfm?id=1 Chris has a rather good reputation for tuning engines and, moreover, can likely propose some options for you (note: I am unsure about their familiarity with MS). Outside of Tapp Auto, some shops in Ottawa talk the t...

FYI - There are good CAI kits on ebay that many (including myself) have had success with. My guess is that such kits would cost less than you making a kit (FYI - they tend to go for about $50). There is a post just above yours that discusses http://www.mx-3.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=53531 Thought I...

You may want to consider a CAI kits off ebay for the 4 cyl. (FYI - so far, nobody has had an issue installing the SOHC kit on the DOHC). They go for about $50. If you search this forum, you will find pics n' such about them. In regard to PRM, last time I checked (a long long time ago) PRM does make ...

FYI - The turbo exhaust manifold from a 88 or 89 Mazda 323 GTX is a direct bolt-on for the DOHC 1.6 (i.e., the B6DE). Moreover, the same exhaust and turbo gaskets fit quite nicely. My local Mazda dealership can still get them and you can also get them from Corksport... Or you can have the manifold m...

Cy: If you are looking for another option (and a Canadian one at that), perhaps http://www.bullyclutch.com/indexen.html would do the trick. I am going with a 'stage 4' six puck configuration for my B6DE turbo project. Should give me some flex if I tweak things up beyond 8 psi... Should have it insta...
