Sup fellas.
Here's the question.
My buddy has a KLZE swap in his 93 mx-3.
Well the whole automatic transmission thing didn't work out so
were gonna do a manual conversion.
Do I need to use a 2.5 v6 transmission/shift linkages etc. out of a probe or out of an mx-6, or is it better to use the ...

I am pretty sure the 2.5L Auto tranny IS different than the 1.8L.
Good luck getting the car to run though- Mason Holmes tried to get it to work and it did not. He did tons of research beforehand- but the electronics just did not plug up to each other and he basically had to make a whole new wiring ...

KLZE automatic tranny mount question
My friend has a 93 GS w/a KLZE motor and the 1.8 automatic
transmission. The transmission is done and we're going to
swap in the automatic KLZE tranny.
Here lies the problem, the tranny mounts are different.
I know that they are the same on both manual transmissions
but I also know for a fact ...

klze lacking power.
This is on my buddies 93 klze mx-3.
He was driving it last week and then he noticed
that it was lacking a little bit of power.
Through the lower rpm band it struggles almost like it's
sputtering then around 4500 rpms it has power all the
way up to redline.
It's the same in each gear.

No spark, tell me what you guys think.
This is on a 93 mazda 626 2.5 v6.
I don't know any 626 guys so I figured I'd come here
where I feel more welcome 8)
The car cranks but it won't start.
I pulled a plug and it's not getting any spark.
I had an extra Ignition switch and tried that,
still it cranks but will not start.

I had lots of the same symptoms as you guys.
It ended up being the relay inside of the ecu.
It's worth a try to open it up and have a look.
Will it start if you spray starter fluid in the tb?
Maybe this thread will help a little bit.

Make sure the fuel line goes from the hard line the the intake line that doesn't have the FPR, then from the FPR back to the filter and then the other hard line. As for which line is incoming fuel you can take both rubber lines off the hard line at the firewall and have someone watch (with goggles ...

a good way to check if you have your fuel lines switched is to turn on the key and see if you fuel pump is turning. if it isn't then the lines are switched. the fuel will try to go in the wrong way and be blocked off so tha max pressure is reached and the fuel pump shuts off. that is exactly what ...
