Make sure you can move all your pulleys by hand. Shouldn't spin with ease but shouldn't be too stiff either. Listen for grinding noises or feel for roughness. The pulley should spin with a little effort and should be a smooth spin. No clankin' around.

They are along the top inside of the bumper.

Also try to narrow down the area being searched. As in if what you are looking for has to do with the 4 cyl engine, search under that section.

Well, they deffinately have oil burnt on them... hard to tell from the pics. From the top they look like crap :wink: but most of that will probably wipe off. Hard to tell from the pic. Get a pic of the crank if you can. And of the piston ...

My 2 cents;

Gas prices here are average $2.75-.89

My gas light has never come on. Ever. My guage fluctuates massively. It will go from sitting on the bottom to half a tank and back. Once I get under half a tank my gauge basically becomes useless.

I also think its funny how gas prices will jump ...

is it a quiet rattling because I have the same thing coming from the passenger side under the hood at about the same rpm ranges. I just thought it was some shims rattling or something. I don't have a cai so its not that.

So when you're not racing it is fine? What rpm do you shift?

And how far over is your fifth gear? Above reverse or further over?

is it expensive to have it rebuilt ?

and if i do a swap is there an engine that i dont have to change motor mounts tranmisson ? cant i just plug and play i dont mind changing ecu but i dint wanna throw like3000 at a 500 dollar car know what i mean ???
