Turn it the way that makes it stall? One way should lower RPMs, other way will raise RPMs, so I'd say to lean it out turn it the way to lower RPMs.

Is your car overheating? My fans don't work either but I don't worry about it cuz I never experience overheating. Not since I replaced my water pump anyways.

The hose you are talking about is the one that needs to be plugged with a screw.

Yeah, brake or carb cleaner. Use a bore brush if available to get all the gunk out. Make sure the butterfly valve is correctly adjusted too.

Vacuum hoses are the (stock) black rubber hoses that run all over your engine. If one of those is cracked or loose, could cause a vacuum leak causing engine problems.

Well its normal in the sense of nothing is really wrong with it sticking when its cold, except that it is just cold and stiff. Like yoda said, switching fluid does help and would be something good to do regardless. Especially if you don't know how old the current fluid is. It may also be low on flui...

Yeah this problem could be a couple things. Cleaning the TB fixed it for me. Check all your vacuum lines and clean your TB and see if it stops.

Yes, the SOHC tranny will not last too long on a BP. As for what tranny and bolt ups, I don't know because I have no intentions on doing any swaps. Check the faq.

For the pulley you're going to need a pulley puller. Do NOT let parts store do it, unless you know an employee and he knows what he is doing. One time I bought a new alt for a Taurus and needed to swap pulleys. I took it to Advanced (walking distance) and asked them to switch the pulleys for me. Gue...

Yeah the airflow meter should have nothing to do with the lights. You probably killed your batt trying to start it with no alt belt. Try hooking a batt charger up to it and see if that works.

Possible Alt problem

Ok, now when driving and I hit the brakes, my lights dim almost to being off, as well as sometimes my charge light blinks on the off. My stereo also turns off then on really quick.

Is this an alt problem or just an extreme case of light dimming?

Make sure they're not just loose. Mine were loose and I bought new mounts with out realizing it. Luckily it was the wrong mount so I didn't instal it before seeing the bolt on the mount was just loose.

Don't use that sealer stuff that you pour in. It clogs up your internals. Sure it stops the leak but I think it should only be used in emergencies.
