it was a b*tch putting in the gs alt cause I have AC and the line was right there so my dad and I had to push the AC line as far left and then with a lot of strategy I got the alt out you just have to find the right angle at which to take it out then you don't have to jack the car up or anything.

i had very simliar problems with my gs alternator, in an rs car your best bet would probably be to look at the quality of your belt if its on its last limbs, its too slow, or too tight it will be the culprit for your alternator.

the problem is i lost all the coolant and it jus pours out as soon as its put in, i dont want to start it and run it without a belt to do anymore damage then what may or may not have been done, thanks for everyones advice i guess ill jus have to sit and wait until i get a call from the the mechanic ...

k i tried to put more coolant in the car it just keeps coming out of the bottom, i checked my oil its brown but thats just because i need an oil change i would not say its milky looking or anything but i dont want to run the car since there is no belt, i removed the rad cap and all i see is coolant.
