Oh...first of all, I just noticed a difference in the pictures above and thought I should note why. The first pictures shows the exaust manifold painted black, and the second shows a non-painted exaust manifold. Here's why... For anyone painting parts in their engine bay, DO NOT paint the exaust man...

OK...for anyone who has the same problem...I think it's the clutch fork. It may be because I exteded the rod in the slave cylinder, I don't know. But when I put pressure on the clutch fork with my hand, the noise stops. I think the squeak/rattle is the rod vibrating against the fork. I'm going to pu...

Ticking from tranny...

I just noticed today that when the clutch is engaged (when I don't have my foot on the pedal at all) there is a ticking sound coming from the tranny. It sounds like it's coming from the part where the clutch is, but I can't be too sure. It goes away as soon as I push the clutch pedal down at least 1...

Wow...I just looked up a new ISC valve from the parts store and it's like $400 USD! That's insane! I guess I'll try to find one at the junk yard that looks good. If I can't, then I guess I have to fork out some cash for a new one. I may just do that anyway, but it's kind of hard to do when I'm at th...

Yeah the belts are good...brand new when I put the motor in about a month ago. The tention looks fine. I just checked the diagnostics and she's throwing a code 34, which is the code for the ISC valve. So that would be my problem. I think one of the water lines that goes to that assembly was rusted, ...

I was thinking...is it the idle control valve or something that the ECU controls that actually raises the RPM? Well whatever part does the job, could that be malfunctioning? I don't know how to test if it is raising the RPM for other types of loads on the motor...

I would agree that it is electrical. When the idle is high, it doesn't stall, but the RPM drops a lot. The RPM seems to cycle with the compressor clutch and the A/C fan, so I'm led to believe that the compressor is drawing too much of a load on the motor and the ECU isn't raising the RPM to compensa...

A/C causes car to stall...

Well after I got my BP put in, the idle was high (1500 all the time). When I turned the A/C on, it would drop to around 800 RPM. So today, not thinking about the problem above, I adjusted my idle. I got it set just fine, and the car was running great, but then when I turned the A/C on, the car stall...

You have to get a longer rod and actually REPLACE the stock one. I just went to Home Depot and got some solid rod (from the Hardware isle) and cut a piece that was about 3/4" longer than the stock one. That was the length that worked for me in the end. I also put one of those rounded nuts over ...

I started to notice that the clutch was slipping. I guess I extended the rod in the slave cylindar too much. I adjusted the length of the rod, and it seems to be fine now, but there is a VERY tight margain of error. The pedal HAS to be ON the floor in order to shift. Is this normal? If it's off the ...

My computer was down for a few days...so here's an update... The BP is running great! I lengthened the rod in the slave cylinder, and installed a new master cylinder, slave cylinder, and pedal assembly. I guess the clutch kit I bought was a little stiffer than stock, so everything works fine now. I ...

Full of fluid...all the stuff os torqued...I think the clutch kit I got was a little higher pressure than the stock clutch, so I extended the rod in the slave cylinder, and now it works fine. Thanks for all the help, guys!

I bled the hell out of it. No air whatsoever. When I bled the line it got a little better, but not good enough to get the clutch to release without jamming the pedal to the floor (after first bending the hell out of my pedal and extending the rod). I got a new master and slave cyninder, and the line...
