I have a full blaze red RS that I picked up just for its manual transmission and associated parts. The front bumper is in pretty decent shape, the hood has a very slight dent in it but is an easy fix. I can take pics if you want.

Check the hoses that go into the air intake flex pipe/hose to make sure they are secure. I had bumped the larger one that feeds into the throttle body while cleaning the engine bay and had very similar issues trying to get it running. Just my .02

I am dropping another BP into a manual RS I picked up recently and need a harness. My favorite local shop is coming up empty so I thought I would check here. Anyone have one laying around?

Or I could use the wide plug on the ECU side of a regular RS harness so I can steal a pin to add my VICS wire.

About $3500 for the kit. I am also going to be replacing the valves and springs, so a little more. Not cheap, but as this is my 'project' car, I think it is worth it. The more unique I can make it, the better.

Actually, there are none in Grand Rapids, itself. The closest one is about an hour away. If you click on either of those links, it just gives the five closest to either location it found in its maps program.

Yeah, I *WISH* we had a local dealer that carried anything similar. We have Autozone, Advanced Auto, and Pep Boys. None of them had anything for internal antennas.

That is a good price, too. Oh well, in all it is still not a bad price to pay on the path to customization.

Picked up a set of Z3 fender inserts and a Chilton manual. Everything showed up quick and intact. Great transaction.

I dunno, I see snow on the ground. I personally hike mine up for the winter as it is a daily driver until this spring. After the turbo and paint job, mine will not see another snowflake again.
