i just took off my stock intake and put on a cone filter driectly on my mass air flow secor...seemed to help a bit...not much tho

i just bought the car, im running a short ram intake, but even before it nvr pulled in 5th, i hit the gas and barly any increase in the rpm...is the car just weak in 5th, or is it something else. all of the other gears seem to work good adn my motor is the 1.6l DOHC.

The Front transmission mount needs to be replaced ($25.00 at any wrecking yard) but that is minor. ???minor...and is there a rear tranny?

how could i get the timming right? just get it cheaked at a dealer or would a turbo time do that?

yea a have a shop doing 90% of the install....

so what are the weak parts of the motor...ive heard of everyone changing cams from the miati (sp) anything else that are common to blow when running too much psi?

ok, ive tryed searching...and even just looking for the answer but just keep getting confused...
so my question is...
what parts can i use from other cars can i use to set up a turbo? what is a safe PSI to run on stock internals.
