cool, I put 4 in. That's what I figured. I think it just looked like more coming out than the old engine, because the old engine burned a LOT.

When I installed my CS downpipe and new Cat, the flex pipe was no more. Now (only at around 2100 RPM) I notice a vibration that I believe is coming from the exhaust. I've been told that my muffler moves around a lot more than it used to. Could this also be a result of a lost flex pipe?

I don't have a manual for the new engine. I'm running the BPT now. Just wanted to know how much oil to put in. I just drained what looks like a lot more than the old 1.6 SOHC used to have which was I believe 3.5 quarts or somewhere around there. The BP and the BPT should have the same capacities so ...

Seems like a lot less work than the common rear disc swap. Is the MX-3 GS the ONLY subframe that will work and have the rear disc breaks?

Well, if you have the 1.6 SOHC (which I believe that turbo kit is for) then I would recommend the BP or BPT engine swap. I think many of our fellow MX-3ers would agree. For $2,000 you could almost get a whole front clip. I just dropped my old 1.6 SOHC at the dump today. Good riddance to bad rubbish....

Does that glasspack stuff cause any losses in power? My friend's Evo has gotten him 3 tickets for loud exhaust (along with whatever they pulled him over for) and I told him to throw the silencer on his muffler, but he said he would lose a boatload of HP. Damn 4-doors.

My only previous experience was with aviation ground support equipment for the U.S. Marine Corps. Basically diesel engine driven stuff, like generators and power plants like that.
